Black Belt Home Study Course

Shira Tora Ju-jitsu is a hybrid system that brings together in harmony some traditional Japanese Ju-jitsu, some Pankration, some Brazilian and along with some Kung-Fu hand techniques. Shira tora also throws in some Western Grappling and Submission Wrestling. Which attempts to make this a total package and a East meets West kind of philosophy.

 

Although many of the techniques in this style can be used in MMA, it focuses a lot on self defense, so in our modern times if you’re looking to conveniently study and practice a legitimate Ju-jitsu style,  while working to earn a Black Belt, all in your own time and place, then this eclectic Ju-jitsu style is definitely for you.

 

The Black Belt study at home is set up in 4 DVDs and can either be video tested one rank at a time or all the ranks to 1st Dan Black at the same time.

 

For Beginning Martial Artists, I request staying in this style for at least one year before earning your Black Belt and for all other Black Belts looking for another Black Belt, there is not a minimum or maximum time, it’s simply up to the individual.

 

For experienced Black Belts if you  send a photo of your rank I will allow the honor system.

 

The cost for the Black Belt course is $99 and that includes the test fee and DVDs. DVDs are set up with White to Yellow, Yellow to Green, Green to Brown, and Brown to Black.

 

We also offer Rank recognition, send a Photocopy of your Rank certificate and we will send you one of ours recognizing you.

 

The cost for recognition is $15 for color belts, $25 for 1st Dan Black Belts and add an extra $5 per Dan ranks.

 

We offer a Submission Wrestling instructor certification for all Black Belts and the fee for that is $50.
